A morning in the life of a man with a van.

Stuart is an independent “man with a van”. He earns his living helping people to move house, clear homes, pick up furniture, take things to the tip. He has a regular stream of work delivering complimentary magazines to corporate businesses and collecting empty kegs of beer from breweries, bars and pubs across the North West.

This project was inspired by questions about self-employment and earning a living on the road, as well as a wider interest in the job-insecurity threaded through much of modern work in Britain today.
